Energy:
Our Lodge is autonomous in electricity which we produce thanks to solar panels. Our generator set is used only for pumping water.
Given the difficulty in producing this energy, we invite you to participate in reducing consumption. Simple actions can significantly reduce electricity consumption: avoid turning on the light when natural light is sufficient, turn off the lamps when leaving the room, do not needlessly recharge electrical devices.…
We inform you that the use of hair dryers and kettles as well as any device equipped with resistance that consumes a lot of electricity is prohibited in the lodge. Our installation does not allow this type of device to be supplied.

Water:
The water for the taps in the bedrooms comes from a well. It is drinkable and regularly checked. However, to brush your teeth, we recommend that you use the bottle of "Eau Vive" offered on your arrival. You can buy more at the bar if you wish.
Water is a scarce resource at LODGE DES TERRES BLANCHES , we ask you to help us save water by using your towels more than once. We change your sheets every three days. On request from you, we will modify this rate according to your wishes.

Every day between 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., on the lodge's terrace, we will be delighted to offer you a tea or a lemongrass iced with ginger accompanied by small cakes.
Our Chef offers you a cuisine composed mainly of seafood. The fish comes directly from fishermen in neighboring villages. The menu is posted every morning on the Lodge's slate. Let us know if you have an allergy.

The bar:
Open from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. You can taste our cocktails with or without alcohol, as well as classic aperitifs and digestives.
Laundry:
You can put the items you want washed in the laundry baskets in the bedrooms. They will be returned to you within 24h00.

Swimming in the sea:
Swimming on the beach does not present any particular risks. We simply ask you to take note of the tide times. We inform you that the beach is not supervised.
Tips:
If you wish to leave tips for the staff of LODGE DES TERRES BLANCHES , you can leave it in the safe located in the Lodge. They will be equitably distributed among all hotel employees.

Medicines:
In Madagascar, effective drugs are expensive. Through our pharmacy, we help our staff and the villagers with their care. We would be very grateful if at the end of your stay you left us the products you do not use for them to benefit.

The TANAMALANDY association:
The LODGE DES TERRES BLANCHES has decided to create the Tany Malandy association in order to help the development of agriculture and education to allow the younger generations to stay in place and not experience the rural exodus.
The main goal of this association is to give the inhabitants of the Ambovolalina region the means to become self-sufficient in crops, livestock as well as irrigation. We will be happy to explain the other actions we are going to take.
